Compensation

• Base pay starting between $19.50 and $21.00 per hour

Job Duties

The Item Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing the end‑to‑end item creation and item maintenance process within the Product Information Management (PIM) system. This role serves as a centralized expert function focused exclusively on new item setup, ongoing item updates, and data accuracy, ensuring consistency and quality across all divisions. The Item Data Coordinator works closely with Vendors, Buyers, Demand Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance to move items efficiently from new item enhancement through final approval and activation in core systems. This role is accountable for the process of building, validating, and maintaining item records based on Buyer‑provided source documentation and vendor submissions. Coordinates item workflows, manages communication with vendors during the setup process, and ensures all required item attributes, descriptions, and supporting details meet established standards prior to approval. Reporting into a centralized Item Data Manager, the Item Data Coordinator ensures item records are accurate, complete, and consistently structured, and acts as a point of escalation for item‑related data issues.

Essential (Primary) Functions:

• Understanding of impact of item changes both physically and financially (such as setting up item relationships, UOM costing, PO’s, item hierarchy, Dimensions) and performing the completion of these tasks and maintenance for the Merchant group
• Support continuous enhancement by identifying opportunities for improvement to data management processes and tools universally across all divisions
• Interface with Supply Chain, Merchant, Marketing, Operations, and Finance groups to troubleshoot and communicate potential needs and areas of improvement across all divisions and work with internal departments and local users on any master data related projects to ensure progressive development and accuracy of data
• Managing a smooth workflow of data from various sources and gathering this information in the correct format in line with defined SOP’s and assume ownership and responsibility for accuracy of all vendor and product data within core systems
• Improve data quality based on KPI’s, utilizing processes, services and tools provided
• Communicate frequently with internal and external partners and groups to ensure prudent processing and resolution to all item-related open issues such as item number changes and/or product launches, master data creation or maintenance
• Liaises closely with data end-users as appropriate
• Build relationships with and support other business users through the timely resolution of Master Data Issues / Queries
• Initiate regular data audits to identify any discrepancies and inconsistencies

Qualifications

Prefer 2-3 years of Data Administration experience on an ERP system (such as Microsoft AX/D365, Oracle or SAP) and/or relevant experience in data entry and data management
