Key Responsibilities

Process Development: Formulate and implement new SMT production processes to satisfy product design specifications and quality requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyze and optimize existing SMT processes to maximize efficiency, reduce line waste, and enhance yield.
Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues encountered during SMT production, identifying root causes and executing corrective/preventive actions.
Process Control: Conduct process capability studies ($C_{pk}$) and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques across assembly operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Equipment Maintenance, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) and overall process stability.
Documentation & Standards: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices.
Training & Support: Provide technical training, guidance, and day-to-day support to SMT production operators and technicians.
Industry Insights: Stay current with industry best practices, emerging SMT technologies, and equipment advancements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set with a structured, data-driven approach.
Design Standards: Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Methodologies: Experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
