About us

BISON Restoration Services is a locally owned, IICRC-certified restoration company serving the OKC metro since 2017. We handle water, fire, mold, storm, contents and full rebuilds out of a 20,000 sf climate-controlled facility. We document everything, price it right, and don't let files sit.

The role We're bringing estimating and claim closure in-house. You'll write the Xactimate estimates our field team scopes, then own each file to the finish line: submission, adjuster negotiation, supplements, approval, final invoice and collection. This seat decides how fast the work we've already done turns into cash.

What you'll do

• Write accurate Xactimate estimates from the office for mitigation, contents and reconstruction, using field scopes, photos, moisture logs, Matterport/360 scans and Encircle documentation
• Review scope with PMs, field leads and subs so every line is supported
• Submit estimates to carriers and TPAs on time and within each program's guidelines
• Negotiate scope and pricing with adjusters, write supplements, and rebut comparative estimates with documentation
• Run every open file on a clock: follow up on schedule and escalate stalled claims before they go dead
• Make sure invoices, change orders and progress billing match the approved scope
• Work with the homeowner, carrier and office team to collect balances on time
• As we grow, build and lead a small estimating and closure team

What you bring

• 5+ years of Xactimate estimating in insurance restoration (mitigation and reconstruction). Desk or field adjusting experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of IICRC standards (S500/S520/S700), restoration methods, materials and building codes
• A record of getting claims approved and paid, not just written
• A calm, firm negotiating style that sticks to scope and pricing and backs every number with documentation
• Detail oriented and organized enough to run a large file load without anything slipping
• Strong written communication. Your emails to carriers get answered
• Comfortable in job-management software (Xcelerate, Encircle or similar). Xactimate certification preferred, IICRC certs a plus

Pay and perks

• $65,000 base or more, depending on experience
• Quarterly bonus for closing and collecting files fast and at full value
