SAFE (ASP) Site Coordinator

Job Summary Big Springs Union Elementary School District is seeking a dependable, student-centered SAFE (ASP) Site Coordinator for the 2026–2027 school year. Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal, the coordinator will plan, organize, and oversee after-school academic support, enrichment, recreation, and social activities. Responsibilities include supervising students and program staff, leading small-group instruction, communicating with families, maintaining program records - including attendance, snacks, sports participation, and program evaluations - and ensuring a safe, positive, and organized environment. The successful candidate should work well with students and staff, communicate effectively, apply program rules and regulations, and attend required meetings and training. The selected candidate must complete all required fingerprint, TB, health-screening, and CPR/First Aid requirements before employment or within the timeframe established by the District. College coursework in a related field and an associate degree are preferred but not required. Comments and Other Information This position is for the 2026–2027 school year at Big Springs Elementary School in Montague, California. Work hours will follow the assigned SAFE/After-School Program schedule. The successful candidate must be comfortable supervising students, directing program staff and activities, communicating with families, maintaining required program records, and creating a safe, positive, and organized environment. Employment is contingent upon completion of all required District clearances and employment requirements.
