Perkins Tutorial Supervisor (Part-time)

Under the direction of the Cerullo Learning Assistance Center Interim Dean of Learning Support, the Perkins Tutorial Supervisor oversees, coordinates, and assesses tutorial services related to Perkins Grant related tutorial support.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with CLAC staff and Grants Office to promote and monitor student success
• Participate in the institutional assessment process to evaluate CLAC services for Perkins Grant initiatives
• Maintain detailed records of student attendance, participation, and any grant-related CLAC expenditures for the Perkins Grant
• Provide immediate assistance to tutors and students, addressing their questions and/or concerns
• Generate statistical reports as needed
• Collaborate with CLAC Supervisory Team to recruit, hire, train, schedule, and monitor tutors
• Collaborate with BCC faculty and staff on grant-related initiatives
• Conduct outreach for the CLAC by communicating with College departments and organizations and by creating, posting, and updating materials
• Other grant-related duties assigned as needed by the CLAC Manager

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Must hold an Associate's Degree or higher Experience: Experience generating statistical reports preferred. Experience working with diverse populations preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace. Good communication skills with students, faculty, and staff required. Good organizational, record-keeping, data processing, and time management capabilities preferred.

HOURLY RATE AND BENEFITS:

• Hourly rate-$25/hour
