Develop accurate construction drawings and extract data from the discipline’s BIM platform.
Work with structural engineers and designers to produce drawings and renderings that meet project execution plans, workflow criteria, specifications, and drafting standards.
Review drawings for compliance with established specifications and standards, and work with design originators to resolve discrepancies between initial designs and final drawings.
Coordinate design documentation and model changes with internal and external disciplines to meet client expectations and organizational quality standards.
Apply basic engineering knowledge and detailing practices efficiently, following prescribed processes and guidance from the team leader.
Create discipline-specific BIM content, stay current on BIM software and best practices, and attend conferences, seminars, and workshops to learn and share knowledge internally.
Learn the RFI process, including preparing requested items or renderings under an engineer’s direction.
