Reclaim Technician - 1st Shift

Position Summary:

Disassemble pumps, motors, controls, subassemblies.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Ability to disassemble units
• Identify obvious scrap and enter part quantities into excel sheet
• Wash, sand blast and blacken parts and Identify obvious scrap.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
• Attention to detail.
• Exposure to elements such as odor, hydraulic fluids, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Safety Glasses and steel/safety toed work boots are required.
• Other PPE equipment as required.
• Ear plugs in the clean up area

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing plant shop environment; regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
