Senior Store Operations Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the New Store opening process, including new store openings and remodels, with speed, efficiency, integrity, and a customer lens. This includes collaboration with the field, Store Operations, Finance, Store Design & Construction, Technology, Workforce Management, HR, Real Estate, Logistics, Procurement, and External Stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Owns project timelines for all new store openings, tracking progress, providing updates, and driving resolution of open issues
• Manages the BBW New Stores inbox, serving as the primary liaison between our Field leaders, Real Estate Support team, and internal and external partners while demonstrating urgency and business acumen
• Identifies and communicates trends within Salesforce to proactively mitigate risks impacting future store openings
• Owns Salesforce enhancements and continuous system improvements
• Maximizes the success of new, remodeled, and relocated store openings through timely risk mitigation and accurate communication of evolving project details
• Effectively communicates and influences partners at all levels, including Home Office and Field Leadership
• Advocates for store teams by gathering feedback, strengthening cross-functional partnerships, and driving process improvements
• Partners with Technology team streamline the new store opening process and ensure all technology deliverables are completed on schedule
• Supports the Real Estate operational process with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years equivalent work experience; 1+ years of retail experience preferred
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support Real Estate openings
• Demonstrates independence and accountability in a hybrid work environment with a commitment to continuous self-development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a detail-oriented, process-driven approach
• Adaptability and effective prioritization in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to evolving business need
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Fexa, Shopify, or similar platforms preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or minimum of 1-3 years equivalent work experience; 1+ years of retail experience preferred Core Competencies
