Job Summary The Engineer, Security Solutions is responsible for designing, integrating, and supporting secure building automation and electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and the networked controls that connect them. This role interprets project requirements, prepares detailed technical submittals, and collaborates with project teams and field personnel to resolve design and installation issues, support project handoffs, and maintain accurate documentation. The engineer applies security and controls expertise, along with continuous improvement practices, to deliver solutions that protect client facilities and meet project goals, budgets, and client needs. Core Values In Action

Confident: Apply security and controls expertise to develop reliable, defensible designs and clearly explain technical and risk-based decisions. Recognize the impact of design accuracy on field teams, value others’ expertise, and continually build knowledge of building automation security technologies and best practices.
Committed: Take ownership of accurate security submittals, documentation, and project handoffs. Address design and vulnerability gaps head-on, follow through on commitments, and support project teams in delivering secure solutions that meet client requirements and project budgets.
Compassionate: Listen to understand the security needs and operational challenges of clients, project teams, technicians, and programmers. Respond to questions and feedback without judgment, acknowledge knowledge gaps, and seek help when needed to resolve issues collaboratively.
Innovative: Explore creative, practical solutions to security integration and cybersecurity challenges in building automation environments. Adapt to emerging threats, technologies, and parts obsolescence, and use field feedback to improve the accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness of engineering deliverables.
One: Partner with sales representatives, project managers, technicians, programmers, and client IT teams to combine expertise and achieve shared project goals. Support clear handoffs, solve problems together, and share lessons from both successes and setbacks to strengthen the team.
