Cloud Technical Expert 3

Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Cloud computing expert to support PAC hybrid computing efforts and assist the Government in achieving its cloud computing objectives through high-level recommendations and guidance based on expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• As an expert in Cloud computing, supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by using knowledge of cloud computing environments in commercial and government organizations, and relevant cloud computing related academic research. Assist the Government in achieving its cloud computing objectives by providing high-level recommendations and guidance based on expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.

Required Qualifications

• IT experience meeting an applicable education and experience pathway in the equivalency section.

• Expertise in Cloud computing.

• Knowledge of cloud computing environments in commercial and government organizations, and relevant cloud computing related academic research.

• Expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

• A High School Diploma or GED with twenty (20) years of IT experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university with twelve (12) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.

• A Master's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university with seven (7) years of IT experience.

• A PhD in a related discipline from an accredited college or university with three (3) years of IT experience.

Required Security Clearance

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

• U.S. citizenship is required
