Sr. Project Manager (Solid Waste)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager for a full-time Solid Waste position in our Albany, Syracuse or Rochester offices. Duties primarily include project management tasks related to landfill gas system operations and maintenance, as well as other solid waste facilities and systems.

Technical duties include:

• Management of landfill gas operational field teams operating with B&L’s footprint.
• Landfill gas technical lead and main point of contact for existing clients, internal design teams and equipment vendors.
• Preparation of services proposals, system efficiency and improvement studies and solid waste technical memos.
• Specific assignments may include overseeing landfill gas system troubleshooting, supplemental staffing plans for clients and facilities, regulatory reviews and client assistance with system expansion planning.

Requirements

• 2 or 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 10-15+ years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with the operation of landfill gas extraction systems, pipelines, HDPE piping, specialized LFG metering wellheads and other related civil/site work is a plus.
• Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on occasional field assignments is a plus.

Estimated Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000/year.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
