Cycle Count Specialist

Current Job Opening - Cycle Count Specialist We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Cycle Count Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records through scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods. This position reconciles physical inventory with ERP records, investigates discrepancies, protects material traceability, and supports reliable production scheduling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Cycle Counting Perform scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. Count raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and production supplies. Verify physical quantities against ERP records and perform blind counts when required. Document discrepancies, complete recounts, and retain count records. Inventory Accuracy and ERP Transactions Investigate differences using receipts, transfers, production transactions, and shipping records. Verify part numbers, inventory locations, lot numbers, heat numbers, and quantities. Identify incorrect or missing transactions and recommend corrections. Submit inventory adjustments for authorized management approval. Warehouse Organization and Material Control Confirm material is stored in assigned locations with accurate, legible labels. Support FIFO practices where applicable and maintain lot/heat traceability. Report damaged, obsolete, misplaced, or unidentified material. Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S standards. Production and Warehouse Support Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Scheduling. Investigate shortages and verify material availability for production orders. Support physical inventory audits and annual inventory counts. Reporting and Continuous Improvement Prepare daily and weekly count and variance reports. []{style="text-indent: -0.25in; fon "}
