Land Survey Instrument Operator Position Available Ballard CLC, Inc. 1009 Bayou Place, Alexandria, La. Description: Operates surveying equipment under the supervision of the Party Chief Responsibilities include: - Loads equipment and ensures batteries are charged prior to leaving the office - Operates surveying equipment on site to collect all data necessary - Cuts and clears brush and trees from line of survey safely and effectively - Assist the Crew Chief in completing the job - Checks supplies, and materials are in stock and informs Crew Chief of needed items - Makes sure that all tools are in the survey truck and are in good condition to complete the job Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - 1 year of surveying experience - Working knowledge and experience operating Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS Equipment, Trimble Data Collectors, and Levels - Valid Driver's License - Self-motivated and reliable. - Intermediate math skills - Understands and follows verbal and written instructions - Work outside and lift a minimum of 50lbs. - Able to work out of town when necessary - Clean criminal record and must be able to access U.S. Military installations Email resumes to lbroom@ballard-clc.com About Ballard CLC, Inc.
