Description:

Operates surveying equipment under the supervision of the Party Chief

Responsibilities include:

• Loads equipment and ensures batteries are charged prior to leaving the office
• Operates surveying equipment on site to collect all data necessary
• Cuts and clears brush and trees from line of survey safely and effectively
• Assist the Crew Chief in completing the job
• Checks supplies, and materials are in stock and informs Crew Chief of needed items
• Makes sure that all tools are in the survey truck and are in good condition to complete the job

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of surveying experience
• Working knowledge and experience operating Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS Equipment, Trimble Data Collectors, and Levels
• Valid Driver's License
• Self-motivated and reliable.
• Intermediate math skills
• Understands and follows verbal and written instructions
• Work outside and lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Able to work out of town when necessary
• Clean criminal record and must be able to access U.S. Military installations
