Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for listening to audio recordings and accurately transcribing them into written documents. This role requires a strong command of the English language, excellent typing skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe them into written documents
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in transcriptions by proofreading and editing
• Use transcription software and equipment to streamline the transcription process
• Meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of work
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and quality of work

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in transcription or a related field preferred
• Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using transcription software and equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
