Demand Planner

Demand Planner (Axalta Coating Systems, LLC / Mount Clemens, MI) -- Drive Demand, Supply, and Inventory decisions to support business in North America; meet inventory metrics associated with business; provide guidance to customer service, production planning, master scheduling, detailed scheduling, procured planning, sales and marketing teams; perform forecasting, updating supply notes and hosting demand calls with commercial team; manage forecast in SAP / IBP; track backorders and ensure production is scheduled and meet customer requirements; resolve supply, logistics and delivery issues; launch and obsolete codes as required; look for opportunities to lower inventory while still meeting customer requirements; manage Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost improvements including forecast accuracy as well as non-productive inventory. Requires three years of experience required in job offered or as Warehouse First Line Supervisor and/or Inventory Coordinator and SAP Support. Background in education, training or experience must include SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) including creating, adjusting, and validating forecasts and supporting monthly demand planning cycle; SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) including reviewing inventory levels, material availability, and supply constraints impacting demand, S4 Tables, Master data validation; OMP supply chain software, and Integrated Business Planning.
