Syracuse Arts Academy, a well-established charter school located in Syracuse, Utah, is now accepting applications for a part-time Teacher Assistant at the South Campus.
- Assist with Distance Learning Students and technology related to Distance Learning as well as tracking attendance and missing assignments.
- Assist with student supervision in the morning time with certain classes
- Assist with "Opportunity Time" (additional time for students to complete work, possibly on some Saturdays)
Syracuse Arts Academy provides a challenging, accelerated curriculum where academic excellence, character development, and individual growth are nurtured in a safe, orderly and pleasant environment.
Qualified applicants will have passed the PRAXIS exam, or have an associate’s degree (or equivalent credits towards a bachelor's degree). Qualified applicant will work under direction of a certified teacher. Preference may be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching. Candidate must also submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements.
