Shipping Associate – $20+ DOE

Day Shift

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work? If so, this position is for you! A local manufacturing facility in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Shipping Associate to join their team. This position is willing to train! You will help process customer orders, package and prepare products for shipment, manage inventory, and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve products and inventory to complete customer orders.
• Package, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Read and follow shop orders, customer orders, and engineering drawings.
• Process orders accurately and meet shipping deadlines.
• Load and secure products onto trucks as needed.
• Use measuring tools to verify product accuracy.
• Operate a hoist, crane, or forklift as needed after training.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Work with team members to meet production and shipping goals.

Requirements:

• Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred; willing to train.
• Good work history and reliable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn forklift and hoist operation.
