Production Assistant

Production Assistant – Manufacturing | $18–$22/hr.

Day Shift | Flexible Schedule – 20–40 Hours per Week

Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a hands-on job in manufacturing? If so, this job is for you! A local manufacturing facility in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will help prepare materials, assist production employees, and keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist production staff with daily manufacturing and assembly tasks.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and supplies for production.
• Operate basic production equipment and hand tools as trained.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or the next stage of production.
• Move materials and finished goods safely throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete basic production paperwork and report any equipment or quality issues.

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
