Optometrist (OD) – Full-Scope Primary & Ocular Care

Full-time: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Coverage Territory: Western Iowa/Siouxland Region

As part of one of the nation's largest networks of independent optometrists, our client combines the resources and cutting-edge technology of a large group practice with the personal, grassroots feel of community care.

We are seeking a patient-focused Optometrist (OD) who values clinical autonomy, collaborative best practices, and work-life balance. Candidates can choose their primary home base (Sioux City or Denison area) with periodic coverage across neighboring Western Iowa clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Scope Care: Deliver comprehensive eye care services, including routine exams, spectacle prescriptions, contact lens fittings, ocular disease management, and urgent care services.
• Clinical Collaboration: Contribute to group best practices and help refine clinical care protocols alongside a network of skilled providers.
• Community Outreach: Serve diverse rural and regional populations with a commitment to optimal patient outcomes and vision preservation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Licensure: Active (or eligible) Optometric License in Iowa and Nebraska .
• Clinical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in primary eye care, contact lens management, ocular disease diagnosis/treatment, and acute/urgent ocular care.
