A local manufacturing facility in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team. In this role, you will operate equipment to manufacture and package feed products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate feed manufacturing equipment, baggers, sewing machines, and forklifts
• Mix and prepare livestock feed accurately and efficiently
• Monitor product quality during ingredient receiving, production, and load-out
• Record and document production throughout your shift
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Assist with inventory, equipment maintenance, and general facility upkeep
• Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and good communication and math skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred; farming experience is a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to lift at least 55 pounds
• Ability to work in dusty environments and varying temperatures
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
