Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working with machinery and equipment? If so, this position is for you! A local manufacturing company in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Complete preventive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently
• Weld, cut, and grind metal for machine and mold repairs
• Help build, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements

Requirements:

• Industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience
• Electrical or mechanical training is a plus
• Forklift and scissor lift experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a hot, humid manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
