Janitorial Cleaning

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards. Duties - Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in all areas. - Execute custodial duties in a commercial setting, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met. - Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly. - Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked as needed. - Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and efficiently. - Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed effectively and on schedule. Requirements - Must be 18 or older and be able to pass a background check. - Proven experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred but not required. Training is provided. - Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. - Previous experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is advantageous. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. - A commitment to safety practices while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
