Shop Helper

AUI Power is looking for a skilled, self-motivated, dependable, and hardworking team player who can join our company as a Shop Helper in the Facilities Department at our Capitol Heights location. This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.

• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.

• Marks materials with identifying information.

• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.

• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

• Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations.

• Maintain a clean work environment.

• Other duties as assigned.
