Original job description

Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis supporting interventional radiology procedures across peripheral vascular and neurovascular cases. You will scrub and circulate for procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, embolizations, drainages, nephrostomy procedures, vascular access, and intracranial or pulmonary thrombectomy cases. The schedule follows four 10-hour day shifts, with on-call coverage every third or fourth weekend. First-time travelers are welcome, and the assignment provides the opportunity to work with both single-plane and biplane imaging systems in a high-acuity procedural setting.

Weather:

Indianapolis typically offers cool, crisp days during this time of year, with changing temperatures, occasional rain, and chilly mornings. Comfortable layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the city.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Downtown Exploration: Visit Monument Circle, browse local shops, and enjoy restaurants in the heart of Indianapolis.
  • Canal Walk: Walk or bike along the scenic downtown canal and enjoy views of the city.
  • Day Trip – Bloomington: Explore the lively college-town atmosphere, local dining, and nearby outdoor areas.
  • Day Trip – Turkey Run State Park: Hike wooded trails and sandstone ravines in a scenic natural setting.
  • Broad Ripple Village: Enjoy independent restaurants, cafés, galleries, and access to the Monon Trail.
