Job Description
This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse caring for adult and geriatric patients on 12-hour night shifts. The schedule is three nights per week from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-other-weekend coverage required. Responsibilities include caring for a 1:6 patient assignment, monitoring telemetry, completing required clinical documentation, and responding to changing patient needs throughout the shift. Candidates must hold ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS or another stroke certification, along with an active North Carolina or Compact nursing license. Travelers must also pass an onsite EKG/Telemetry exam. First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment.
