This role supports patients with complex neurological and trauma-related conditions, including strokes, seizures, spinal injuries, altered mental status, hematomas, and other high-acuity diagnoses. Nurses should bring recent medical-surgical, PCU, or ICU experience, along with confidence managing drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, diltiazem, amiodarone, 3% saline, and insulin.
Experience with tracheostomies and home vents is highly valued. Ventilator training is available for nurses who are ready to expand their skills. The assignment includes telemetry monitoring, CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, and ETCO2 equipment, with floating to related medical-surgical specialty units as needed. This is a welcoming opportunity for experienced nurses and first-time travelers alike - night owls encouraged.
