Job Description
Join a 13-week travel assignment as an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse supporting a resource pool on 12-hour day shifts. You will care for a high-geriatric, high-acuity population with multiple comorbidities, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, COPD, hepatic conditions, oncology diagnoses, sepsis, and alcohol withdrawal. Strong medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac drip, central-line, IV-start, and EPIC charting experience are essential.
This role requires successful prior travel experience and proficiency with at least three of these cardiac drips: amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, or nitro. The resource pool may float across multiple areas, excluding labor and delivery/women’s services, the emergency department, and special procedures. Weekend coverage is every other weekend, with an expected ratio of approximately 1:4–5. You may be called off or placed on call once per pay period; on-call assignments include a 60-minute callback requirement. Navy or white scrubs are required. A change of scenery comes with the opportunity to expand your experience across varied telemetry settings.
