You will care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including individuals recovering from strokes, neurosurgical procedures, joint replacements, fractures, respiratory conditions, sepsis, GI bleeds, and other complex diagnoses. The role includes managing admissions and discharges, monitoring patients with neurological and medical-surgical needs, and titrating select drips such as heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine. Nurses should bring BLS and NIHSS certifications, tele-awareness, and the ability to stay organized through a busy 12-hour night shift. Unit-specific orientation is provided, with navy blue scrubs required.
