Job Description:

Join a busy Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center in Winston-Salem for a 13-week contract as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN. This role offers a unique chance to work in a large, highly specialized unit with a focus on geriatric patients, managing diagnoses such as diabetes, GI, respiratory, and renal issues. Expect to handle high patient turn-over with a focus on mobilization and functional independence, all while working 12-hour day shifts. The environment is patient-centered and emphasizes teamwork, making it a great fit for skilled RNs who thrive in collaborative settings. You’ll be utilizing centralized telemetry and Epic EMR, with opportunities to sharpen skills in IV therapy, telemetry, and more, all in a supportive hospital setting that values reliability and continuous improvement.
