Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on the dedicated team at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, within the 4 North Cardiac Telemetry unit. You will work 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized telemetry care for cardiac patients, including those recovering from cardiac procedures, catheterizations, and open-heart surgery. Your role emphasizes interpreting EKGs, managing IV medications like Amiodarone and Insulin, and utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring equipment. The setting offers a lively yet supportive environment with a mix of experienced staff and new team members, fostering a family-like atmosphere. Expect to engage directly with patients, following policies that uphold a high standard of courtesy and responsiveness, and contribute to ongoing patient education and comfort.
