Job Description:

Join our team as a Med-Surg/Telemetry RN at a prestigious hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, for a 20-week travel assignment. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing essential care to adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring. You’ll float within your scope to meet the facility’s needs and handle a patient ratio of approximately 1:5. This position offers an opportunity to sharpen your telemetry and dysrhythmia management skills, with about 36 hours of weekly commitment. Experience in teaching hospitals and community settings is preferred but not required - first-timers are welcome. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory, along with Maryland or compact licensure. Orientation covers about 24 hours, including two days on the unit, focusing on telemetry interpretation and emergency response protocols.
