RN: Telemetry

Job Description:

Join the Cardiac Renal Unit at Deaconess Midtown as a Telemetry RN for a rewarding 13-week contract. This role involves providing high-acuity care for patients with complex cardiac and renal conditions, including arrhythmias, post-angiography, CHF, and COPD. You’ll be working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with a focus on careful assessment and critical thinking. The assignment offers opportunities to interpret 12-lead EKGs, initiate and titrate IV drips, and manage specialized tubes. You’re expected to bring at least two years of cardiology telemetry experience, with recent EPIC charting proficiency. Be ready to float within skill sets at nearby campuses, and enjoy the experience of working within a dedicated team led by a manager with over 15 years of service. The pace is brisk, and resilience is essential - this is a role for a hard worker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting that keeps you engaged and challenged.
