RN: Telemetry

Job Description:

Join a brand-new 24/7 telemetry unit in Richmond as a travel Registered Nurse. You will care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients, perform routine assessments and procedures, draw labs, monitor cardiac rhythms, and document in Meditech. The assignment includes bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounding, and collaboration with unit support staff.

This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend coverage. Nurses should hold current BLS and ACLS certifications and be prepared to complete a hospital telemetry assessment. Floating may be required to similar units or to the emergency department for telemetry holds.

Weather:

Expect generally cool, crisp conditions with comfortable afternoons, cooler evenings, and occasional rain. Layered clothing and a light jacket are useful for exploring the area.
