The role follows a day schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekdays and every-other-weekend coverage. Responsibilities include caring for patients within the nurse’s scope, documenting in Epic, and floating to like units or a nearby sister facility as needed. Nurses should have at least one year of experience, BLS certification through the AHA, and comfort working with flexible staffing ratios. First-time travelers are welcome when the experience requirements are met.
