Original job description
Job Description:
Join a travel healthcare assignment as a Registered Nurse on a fast-paced telemetry unit in St. Louis. You will provide direct care for patients with heart failure, chest pain, arrhythmias, respiratory conditions, renal concerns, and hemodialysis needs. The role includes telemetry monitoring, managing cardiac drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem, caring for patients with central lines and drains, and coordinating care across departments. You may also encounter overflow patients requiring sepsis, withdrawal, isolation, gastrointestinal, urology, or surgical care. The assignment offers 12-hour day shifts, no call, and weekend coverage as needed, typically every other weekend. A monitor tech supports the unit, giving you more time to focus on hands-on nursing care.
Weather:
St. Louis typically has cool, crisp weather around this time of year, with changing temperatures, occasional rain, and comfortable opportunities to explore the city between shifts. Pack layers and a light jacket for outdoor activities.

- Day Trip: Spend the day at Six Flags St. Louis for rides and attractions.
