Original job description
Job Description:
Join an acute care oncology team caring for adults with leukemia and benign hematology conditions. In this travel RN assignment, you will manage complex medical-surgical patients during 12-hour night shifts, using EPIC and strong telemetry skills to monitor cardiac status, administer treatments, and support patients requiring supplemental oxygen. Your responsibilities will include caring for central lines, managing blood transfusions, and working with patients who may receive chemotherapy; agency nurses are not required to administer chemotherapy. This assignment is well suited for an RN with solid medical-surgical experience, oncology knowledge, and prior travel experience. A little night-shift focus goes a long way in this setting.
