Original job description

Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle as a Registered Nurse supporting neurosurgery, neurology, and epilepsy patients. You will provide care for patients experiencing traumatic brain injuries, strokes, seizures, spinal cord injuries, aneurysms, and changes in mental status while managing telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias. The role includes IV starts, tracheostomy care, and close observation of complex neurological conditions. Work three 12-hour day shifts each week, including every other weekend, with flexibility for scheduling and floating within scope when needed. Strong neuro experience is valued, and first-time travelers may be considered. Your telemetry skills will be put to the test - literally.

Weather:

Seattle typically offers cool temperatures, fresh air, and a mix of cloudy skies and light rain during this time of year. Brighter breaks are common, making it easy to enjoy the city’s parks, waterfront, and surrounding natural beauty.

Fun Things To Do:

• Waterfront outing: Explore Pike Place Market, the Seattle Aquarium, and the scenic downtown waterfront.

• Museum day: Visit the Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and the Space Needle at Seattle Center.

• Day trip: Visit Mount Rainier National Park for mountain views, trails, and scenic overlooks.

• Day trip: Travel to Leavenworth for Bavarian-style architecture, local shops, and mountain scenery.

• Island escape: Take a ferry to Bainbridge Island for waterfront walks, galleries, and relaxed dining.

Job Specifics:

City and State: Seattle, Washington Shift: 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
