RN: Telemetry

Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana, providing medical-surgical care for telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts. This role includes caring for patients with multiple co-morbidities, completing focused assessments, administering medications and blood products, managing wound vacs, chest tubes, PCA and epidural therapy, and supporting patients who require telemetry monitoring. You will use equipment such as IV infusion pumps, BiPAP, enteral feeding pumps, and EKG technology while documenting in Meditech. The assignment also offers exposure to ortho-neuro-trauma patients and the opportunity to float to other medical-surgical-telemetry units based on staffing and patient care needs.
