Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment in Yuma, Arizona, is for an experienced registered nurse supporting a combined Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit on 12-hour night shifts. You will care for adult patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, and post-operative needs while monitoring telemetry and verifying rhythm strips. The role includes working with Epic EMR, managing non-titrated heparin and Lasix infusions, and caring for stable patients requiring BiPAP or tracheostomy support. Recent Level I or II trauma hospital experience and current BLS certification are required; ACLS is preferred. The assignment includes every-other-weekend coverage, typically two of three holidays, and occasional floating to comparable low-acuity areas.

Yuma typically offers warm, sunny days, very little rainfall, and comfortable evenings during this time of year - ideal for exploring the desert landscape after a shift.
Fun Things To Do:
• Desert Adventure: Explore the Imperial Sand Dunes for scenic views, hiking, and off-road recreation.
• Day Trip: Visit Joshua Tree National Park for desert trails, rock formations, and wide-open landscapes.
• Day Trip: Spend a day in San Diego enjoying the waterfront, museums, and coastal scenery.
