Job Description:

Take on a 13-week travel assignment as a registered nurse in a float pool supporting MedSurg Tele and PCU units across two campuses in Prescott. You will care for primarily geriatric and orthopedic patients, along with post-procedural, post-MI, cardiac catheterization, and CABG patients. The role includes interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing titratable drips such as heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, dopamine, dobutamine, and insulin, and caring for patients using CPAP, BiPAP, or heated high-flow oxygen as appropriate. Flexibility is important, as unit placement is communicated before each shift and may include inpatient holds in the emergency department. Expect 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shifts, every other weekend, and participation in the regular holiday rotation.

Weather:

Prescott typically offers crisp mornings, comfortable sunny afternoons, and cool evenings during this time of year. The high-desert setting brings generally dry conditions, clear skies, and occasional precipitation.
