Job Description:

Join a fast-paced IMCU unit in Redding, California, as a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical monitoring and bedside care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, renal failure, respiratory failure, alcohol withdrawal, and post-PCI. You will be performing assessments, interpreting telemetry strips, and managing protocol-driven drips like heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem, all while maintaining a focus on patient safety. This unit has a lively rhythm, often running at full capacity, making your expertise and quick thinking essential in delivering quality care. Experience in telemetry and critical care is required, with a preference for those who thrive in team-oriented environments. A proctored dysrhythmia test on day one ensures only the most capable make it through, adding a bit of a challenge - but also a sense of accomplishment.

Weather:

The weather around here tends to be pleasantly mild, with warm days and cooler evenings. Expect clear skies and comfortable temperatures that make it easy to enjoy outdoor activities after your shifts.
