RN: Telemetry

Job Description:

This travel contract is designed for an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry RN caring for adult patients with medical, surgical, and telemetry needs. You will manage conditions such as CHF, COPD, infections, kidney and liver disorders, respiratory issues, wounds, postoperative recovery, and patients requiring continuous bladder irrigation. Responsibilities include IV and Foley care, NG tubes, chest tubes, wound care, wound vacs, drains, heparin drips, and telemetry monitoring. The assignment offers 12-hour day shifts on a 36-bed unit with support from charge nurses, phlebotomy, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, intensivists, and telemetry technicians. A little bedside detective work comes with the territory as you care for a varied patient population.
