Original job description

Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is designed for a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety and can provide care across cardiac telemetry, medical-surgical telemetry, and surgical telemetry units. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as pneumonia, stroke, sepsis, congestive heart failure, and complex postoperative needs. Responsibilities include telemetry interpretation, 12-lead EKGs, IV medications and drips, blood administration, central-line and feeding-tube management, wound-vac therapy, tracheostomy care, and CPAP/BiPAP support. The float assignment offers a chance to use a broad range of acute-care skills across multiple inpatient units - every shift brings a new clinical puzzle.

Weather:

Philadelphia’s weather during this time of year is generally cool and comfortable, with crisp air, mild afternoons, cooler evenings, and a mix of sunny and cloudy days. Light layers and a jacket are usually useful for exploring the city.
