Original job description
Job Description:
Join a medical oncology and telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients throughout the cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment through supportive and end-of-life care. This travel assignment is designed for a Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience who can interpret and monitor telemetry, manage true medical-surgical needs, and care for patients with a range of solid-tumor diagnoses. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. You will work primarily on nights, float to other medical-surgical oncology units as needed, and use EPIC for computerized charting. BLS is required; ONS chemotherapy certification is preferred.
Weather:
Expect crisp, cool days with changing skies, colorful foliage, and occasional rain. Temperatures can vary, so comfortable layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.
