RN: Stepdown

Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment caring for high-acuity stepdown patients in a 28-bed private unit. This role supports patients with heavy cardiac needs, dysrhythmias, CVAs, and conditions recently downgraded from the ICU. You will interpret cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry, titrate Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin drips, and care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, or high-flow oxygen. The 12-hour night schedule includes an every-other-weekend rotation, with in-house hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy support available around the clock. Block scheduling may be accommodated.

Weather:

Expect crisp, cool conditions with a mix of comfortable daytime temperatures, chilly evenings, and occasional rain. Layers and a light weatherproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.
