Job Description:
This travel ICU Registered Nurse assignment offers 13 weeks caring for critically ill adults in a 20-bed intensive care setting with private rooms and an average census of 10–14 patients. You will manage complex patients with sepsis, respiratory distress, vents, CVAs, post-cath recovery needs, craniotomies, thoracotomies, and other high-acuity diagnoses. Responsibilities include titrating critical care drips, interpreting cardiac rhythms, supporting bedside procedures, anticipating treatment needs, and providing safe care for patients requiring close monitoring. The role includes floating to telemetry when needed, with a full assignment and orientation for the float shift. This is a traveler-friendly assignment for an experienced ICU nurse who enjoys varied critical care and the occasional plot twist.
