Original job description
Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse supporting pediatric intensive care and pediatric medical-surgical patients on 12-hour night shifts. You will care for children with complex respiratory, neurologic, medical, surgical, and trauma needs, including patients requiring high-flow oxygen, CPAP, BiPAP, ventilator or tracheostomy management, EVDs, seizure monitoring, critical drips, chest tubes, and enteral feeding. The role includes caring for both PICU and pediatric medical-surgical patients, with occasional support for stable lower-acuity patients in other pediatric areas. Expect a broad clinical experience in a setting that sees everything from respiratory illness and new-onset diabetes to pediatric trauma and neurosurgical cases.
Weather:
Kalispell typically offers crisp, cool weather during this time of year, with chilly mornings, limited daylight, and a mix of cloudy skies, rain, and occasional snow. Mountain views can be especially striking when the air is clear, so warm layers and weather-ready footwear are useful.
