Job Description
Take the lead on a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Mesa, Arizona, working 12-hour night shifts. In this Registered Nurse role, you will assess patients, develop and update individualized plans of care, provide direct nursing care, administer interventions, evaluate outcomes, and document each phase of the nursing process. You will also coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, delegate appropriately, support patient and family education, and provide direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel when needed. When the city winds down, your clinical expertise takes the lead.
This assignment is suited for an RN with at least one year of recent acute care hospital experience in the applicable specialty. A current RN license, compact RN license, or applicable temporary/interim license is required, along with BLS certification.
Weather
Expect warm, sunny days with generally comfortable temperatures, cooler evenings, and limited rainfall. The dry climate makes it easy to enjoy outdoor plans before or after a night shift.
