RN: PCU/IMC/Stepdown

Job Description:

This Registered Nurse contract supports a progressive care unit caring for patients with cardiac, respiratory, vascular, endocrine, neurological, and postoperative needs. You will manage conditions such as CHF, ACS, A-fib with RVR, DKA, respiratory distress, and CVA overflow while administering medications including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitroglycerin, and heparin. The assignment includes caring for patients requiring BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, insulin drips, arterial-line monitoring, chest tubes, wound vacs, and post-cath observation. Night shifts run 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with weekend rotation every other weekend and no call. This opportunity is intended for an experienced traveler with at least two years of experience and one completed travel assignment.
